- Situation
- A shortage of planners left demand and supply planning for the plant and contract manufacturers dependent on individuals.
- What GOS did
- Supply planning based on demand forecasts
- Inventory monitoring and forecasting
- Coordination with supply, purchasing and overseas teams
- KPI reporting and meeting minutes
- Master data maintenance
- Key-user support and end-user training for a planning system deployment
- Outcome
- GOS took over the equivalent of one full-time role, standardised the planning cycle, and kept operations running through the system migration.
Global Operations Solution Service
Neither a consulting firm,
nor a staffing agency.
Tailored operation outsourcing for Japanese companies going global and foreign companies entering the Japanese market. We do not stop at recommendations — we work inside your organisation, take part in decisions, and execute the work.
Issues
Does any of this sound familiar?
- Having difficulty finding quality employees
- Need access to expert guidance only when required
- Need to launch a new division or company quickly
- Struggling with negotiations with counterparties overseas or in Japan
- Workload fluctuates too much to define the right headcount
What we do
Advice alone does not run a business
Bookkeeping only. Analysis only. Strategy proposals only. For many owners, that is not enough — they need the work done as well. That is why GOS exists.
01
We execute
We do not only propose a solution. We work through the decision and the execution with you, and then take on the operational work itself.
02
Any level, at once
Because our experts are not your employees, we can fill entry-level, managerial and executive gaps simultaneously, without hierarchy getting in the way.
03
Flexible duration
From a few weeks to several years. Cover the gap for exactly as long as you need it covered.
Fields
What we cover
Across industries: administrative, strategic and operational fields, through to management roles — all from one place.
Finance
Finance & Accounting
Daily bookkeeping, monthly and annual closing, payroll, cash flow statements, budgeting and variance management. We can take on the role of accounting manager itself.
HR
HR & General Affairs
Recruitment, labour management, social security and labour insurance, work rules, employment contracts, staff welfare, training and office administration.
Marketing
Marketing
Market research, competitor analysis, segmentation and positioning, strategy development, creation and localisation of promotional materials, advertising management and sales channel design.
SCM
Supply Chain
Demand forecasting, production and supply planning, inventory planning and control, import and export, order management, purchasing, 3PL selection and management, KPI design.
Management
Management Support
Business and corporate planning, process redesign, business succession, performance management systems, and undertaking external director or statutory auditor roles.
Cross-border
Cross-border Support
Overseas business support for Japanese companies (advisory, proxy negotiation). Japan market support for foreign companies (company registration, market research, team set-up, local negotiation, interpretation and translation).
How it works
How we work
Three features you will not find in ordinary staffing or consulting services.
Complimentary consultation (up to two visits)
We visit and interview you about current operations, the issues you face and the support you need. We then discuss process improvement opportunities and the organisation or resources required.
Job scoping with our proprietary model
We analyse what we learn using the GOS Job Scoping Model and return with a job definition — including improvement proposals where relevant — together with a quotation.
Execution against the agreed job definition
We deliver the work defined and agreed, holding regular reviews and adjusting scope as your needs change.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Are your fees expensive?
We calculate an appropriate fee for each engagement and each client based on the scope of work, with care taken to keep the burden as low as possible. As a result, most clients tell us the service is good value for the outcome delivered.
The initial visit and interview (up to two visits) are complimentary. You decide after reviewing the job definition and the quotation.
How is this different from temporary staffing?
Staffing sends you a person. GOS takes on the work itself. Once the job is defined and reviews are scheduled, detailed day-to-day supervision is not required.
Because GOS experts are not your employees, we can cover entry-level, managerial and executive-level work at the same time, without concern for internal hierarchy.
How is this different from a consulting firm?
We do not simply propose a solution. We work through how the decision should be made and how it should be executed, together with management, and then carry out the work. We do not leave a report behind and walk away.
How is this different from a tax accounting firm?
GOS includes professionals who have run private companies for many years alongside accounting and finance specialists. Beyond bookkeeping and monthly closing, we propose how the numbers translate into near-term forecasts and what management decisions follow, then execute the work resulting from those decisions.
Tax filing itself is handled by our partner tax accountants.
